A Year in Review
Happy New Year
Welcome to a new year. Even though it’s starting out a little bit rocky for all of us, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Being home and taking a bit of a break, I am able to reflect on 2021 and really revel in the beauty and accomplishment this year brought. There is so much gratitude and appreciation in my heart for the clients and friends I have helped realize their home ownership dreams. I have seen people buy their first homes, their first vacation home, sell their childhood home, and say goodbye to beautiful Seattle. I’ve witnessed couples separate and start new lives, and helped new families come together. It is huge privilege to be invited in the lives of the folks around me. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.
Personally, 2021 started off well and good, our older son Simon began his sophomore year at Pitt - in person. Miles, 16, switched from Vashon HS to Chief Sealth and loving basketball and his (mobile) independence.
We did an extensive remodel that got my creative juices flowing and was a great distraction from work. Oh and it taught me a lot for work, and by work I mean the joy of playing matchmaker, which I did a lot. A personal best of 56 homes sold in 2021.
Jason and I celebrated 20 years of marriage, which is a huge source of pride. We loved on our pups, round 2 of Clark babies. Gilda is getting old, so every day with her is a gift.
We squeezed in a few trips too - sunrises in Hawaii, family visits, Palm Springs introductions, Santa Fe with friends and family, and the Oregon Coast for games and beach time.
It’s been a great year with no complaints. I know that 2022 will be a shining future for all of us.
Cheers and Love,
Sarah
